The North Yorkshire coast around Whitby is home to some of the busiest holiday parks in the region, tucked between the moors and the sea from Sandsend down to Robin Hood's Bay. Keys go missing on holiday far more often than at home, buried in a beach bag, left behind on a walk to the amenities block, or simply misplaced in an unfamiliar static van. We attend holiday parks across the area regularly and know most of the sites well enough to find your pitch without a conventional street address.
One of our most frequent callouts, usually a fob left charging in a caravan or a key dropped somewhere between the pitch and the clubhouse.
Set back from the bay itself, we're regularly called out here for cars locked with keys left inside after a day exploring the beach below.
A quieter site where callouts are often spare key requests after guests realise they only travelled with the one.
Tucked among the trees above the bay, we've attended several transponder faults here on vehicles that had been sat unused for a while.
Being further out on the moors, response here takes a little longer, but we still treat it as a priority given the more remote setting.
Close to town, callouts here tend to be quick lockouts resolved within minutes of our arrival.
Elevated sea views make this a popular spot, and we've cut plenty of spare keys here for cars left parked up for extended stays.
Just up the valley from Whitby, we're familiar with the approach roads and can usually reach guests here without delay.
A larger touring site where we've handled everything from simple lockouts to full key replacements for touring vehicles.
A rural setting further up the valley, and one where a fixed price quoted before we travel matters more than ever.
If you're staying somewhere on this list, or at a smaller site nearby, don't let a lost key cut your break short. Give us a call with the park name and your pitch number and we'll head straight over.
